Hervey Bay's Ultimate Whale Watch - we advocate for healthy oceans - join us on board and become an ocean advocate too! A Tourism Australia Signature Experience, Best of Queensland experience and the only whale watch on the Fraser Coast, based on over 40 years of whale research in Hervey Bay. Proceeds support research, conservation and outreach projects.

You'll cruise in comfort on Hervey Bay's purpose-built wildlife and whale watching vessel *Ocean Defender* with a maximum of 38 passengers. Enjoy a smooth ride with panoramic water-level "whale's eye" views from forward-facing seats offering plenty of shade.

There's also plenty of room on this small-group tour with excellent photo opportunities and the convenience of a toilet on board. *Ocean Defender* follows all regulations for whale protection, including our own "Be Whale Aware" guidelines.

What to bring: Camera, hat and sunglasses. We also recommend bringing a warm and/or water-resistant jacket and sun protection. We do sell t-shirts, long sleeve t-shirts, jumpers, hoodies, sunscreen, hats, rain ponchos, sunglasses and beanies in the Ocean Store. Conditions: The minimum age is 6 years. Child rates apply for 6-14 years. We do not allow children under 6 years or 130cm on Ocean Defender. Imagery and Filming: By booking this tour, I assign, transfer, and grant to Pacific Whale Foundation and Pacific Whale Foundation Eco-Adventures Australia the right to produce and utilise materials with my (and any minors in my party that I am responsible for) face, likeness, voice and appearance as part of advertising and promotion of their related programs and offerings.
